Imagine yourself walking on wooden footbridges, surrounded by rustling waterfalls and birdsong. Welcome to Krka National Park, one of Croatia’s most enchanting natural treasures!

What makes Krka so special is above all its seven majestic waterfalls, the most famous of which, Skradinski buk, stretches for almost 800 meters. The crystal-clear water tumbling down the limestone rocks creates a breathtaking natural spectacle.

Our children loved observing the restored old watermills that tell the story of the region. The park is also full of family-friendly trails offering spectacular views of the waterfalls.

Practical tips:

  • Come early in the morning to avoid the crowds
  • Allow 4-5 hours to fully enjoy the park
  • Don’t forget your camera and comfortable shoes
  • Swimming banned since 2021
